A full psychological or psychoeducational assessment typically takes between 12 to 14 hours and involves an intake meeting, direct testing, ratings scales, a written report, and a feedback meeting that occur over several weeks.

To begin, parent(s)/guardian(s) meet with Dr. Droucker for a one hour intake meeting to go through the reason for referral, relevant background information, and further detail as to what to expect. Thereafter, Dr. Droucker will meet with the child or individual for direct testing over one, two or three sessions, typically for a total of 3 to 4 hours. Once the information has been collected, a comprehensive report is written outlining the assessment findings, with a clinical summary and home and school (where relevant), empirically supported recommendations. Parent(s)/guardian(s) or the individual receiving services are invited to meet with Dr. Droucker for a review of the assessment findings during a one-hour feedback meeting.
